our mind is very powerful. It determines whether we fail or succeed. By 'mind', it can be also be viewed as will power. With strong will power, we can overcome or enhance our physical body.
Few weeks ago, it would be quite an impossible task for me to jog from 8.30pm to 10pm.
With a 2km warm up, 26 minutes non-stop, and 3 100 meter dash. (with some breaks in between of course)
I looked at my not so muscular legs and wonder where the strength comes from. the answer is from the mind. Many times while I was jogging, I was feeling to tire and wanted to give up. I know that if I stop, I will not be able to continue anymore. But with will power, I pushed myself on, moving my legs which were on the verge of cramping. This of course is the better version.
The other version? is somewhat related to the mind and emotion side. There was this bf and gf. Well, the gal was not very pretty. But in a place where I am surrounded by people of over 40 years, the effect is significant. That is part of the reason I can continue on. HEHEHEHe....
The point is, the power of the mind is something which we should utilise. :)
